EP139 – Mike Vincent shares the story of making Tribu-te Magazine
Mike Vincent shares the story of making Tribu-te Magazine with Respectfully host Nicky Pope. It’s not a new story to Nicky as she is the UK publisher for the title and has known Mike for 20 years. And yet this podcast contains surprises for her and you!
A Frenchman with a passion for the hairdressing industry, Mike is a tastemaker and has developed the Tribu-te brand to encompass shows, digital platforms and social media. All of which are highly respected internationally. This is the first time he’s been interviewed for a podcast broadcast and his extraordinary vision and creativity is set out for you. It’s compelling listening.
Hear his story
During the conversation, Mike generously shares many memories, stories and his perspective on the global hairdressing industry over the past three decades. He explains how Tribu-te has grown to be a fabulous brand with international acclaim. From presenting stage shows, talking with the industry greats such as Trevor Sorbie and Robert Lobetta, Angelo Seminara and more, Mike has such a breadth of experience, it’s hugely interesting to hear how hairdressing magazines and editors interact with their readers. You’ll hear how and why decisions are made on what goes on the pages and cover.
