Ellie Scott was joined by Colour World Commercial Genius, Dean Lawton-Taylor and Colour World Men’s Colour Genius Dylan McConnachie to talk all things colour. Reminiscing on the joyful moment in 2024 when the boys picked up their trophies through to what goes into preparing an entry.
Dean Lawton Taylor
Dean has been a colourist since 2004, joining the industry later than most, as he studied fashion at university before embarking on his career in hair. He’s not done too bad for himself, as we’ve seen Dean on the Fudge Artistic Team, he has been part of Project Colour and has recently finished his L’Oreal ID Artist programme. What’s next for Dean?
Dylan McConnachie
Freelance hairstylist, session stylist and avant garde expert. Dylan has quite the CV… As seen on All 4’s The Big Blowout Dylan is also hair stylist to the stars of Made in Chelsea, Love Island and MAFS.
