Metal Magazine Cover: Johanna Cree Brown

Hairstylist and sessionista Johanna Cree Brown stepped out from the backstage of fashion week and high-end editorial shoots recently. We spotted her working with singer-songwriter Jessie Ware on a shoot for Spanish fashion and photography Metal Magazine. Using Indola products from her kit, Johanna created two looks: “Taking reference from fashion photographer Richard Avedon, his work in the late 1960’s and early 70’s, and in particular one of the models of time – Verushka, I created bespoke hair looks for Jessie. The beauty of movement and graphic design, drew me in, imagining Jessie elevating the look and making it her own.” says Johanna.
