Kao Salon Division 2024 mentorship programs

In 2024 Kao Salon Division UK & Ireland will introduce two mentorship programs designed to empower hairstylists for the Global Creative Awards.

The 2024 contest adopts a photo-only format, requiring a single image submission for all categories, including editorial. There won’t be a live technical competition; instead, national winners will progress to a virtual global competition.

In addition, two categories will be excluded from the competition next year. These categories are:

• Salon Team of the Year
• Editorial Colorist of the Year

All other categories remain available for both the competition and the associated mentorship programs.

Get your entry documents ready and submit them. Entries may be submitted only between May 15th and May 31st 2024.

GCA Mentorship Programs for 2024:

• Global Collection Awards Mentorship with Beverly C MBE (producing one to three images) – Scotland
• Global Collection Awards Mentorship with Martin Crean (producing one to three images) – London
