Creative Excellence Award

Good Salon Guide are excited to unveil their latest award which recognises the best hairdressing creativity among their members. The Creative Excellence award will go to members who have produced stand out and high-quality creative work as well as working on fashion shoots or as a session stylist.

Champion for excellence

Gareth Penn, Managing Director of Good Salon Guide, says: “We have always showcased and championed the incredible creative talent of our members via the Good Salon Guide magazine. We have been proud to offer a platform for such work to be seen and now it is time to officially recognise that talent through the Creative Excellence award.”

The first Good Salon Guide member to receive the award is Ashley Gamble of Ashley Gable Hair. Ashley has consistently produced stunning collections that have graced the pages of Good Salon Guide magazines as well as many other titles, and his reputation as a session stylist is legendary. Recognising Ashley’s talent was a brilliant way to launch the award and, both Ashley and his team, are thrilled with the new accolade. He says: “To receive the Creative Excellence award from Good Salon Guide is a real privilege. This award embodies everything that we do in-salon, from great colours to extensions and styling – creating great hair day in, day out! We have such a passionate team at Ashley Gamble and we cannot wait for our fabulous clients to see this award.”

Certificates will be presented to all member salons who achieve the Creative Excellence award and, at the end of the year, an independent panel of judges will choose one salon who holds the award to receive a special outstanding creative achievement trophy.
