MOOD LAUNCH BID TO FIND NEW ART TEAM MEMBERS TO JOIN MOOD LIFESTYLE
Professional and luxury hair brand, MOOD, is on a quest to attract new members to its Art Team ‘MOOD Lifestyle’ underpinned by the message to members – “Creating a community, be part of a lifestyle.”

Led by industry icon and MOOD Creative Director, Tracey Ann Smith, new Art Team members have the chance to be part of something amazing – a brand that is established within the industry and continues to grow, becoming a leading name in hair colour, care and styling.
This opportunity provides new talent with the chance to be the new face of the brand whilst learning from some of the best in the industry, including ongoing mentorship from Tracey Ann Smith and MOOD Ambassador and Artistic Team Member, Marlene Lamont.
Applications to become part of the new Art Team are NOW OFFICIALLY OPEN. Applicants must submit a short 1-minute video giving insight into their career and why they want to be part of the MOOD Art Team. In addition, applicants are required to submit two photographs of their work: one “behind-the-chair” image and one professional image, where available. If a professional image is not available, two behind-the-chair images may be submitted instead.
After an initial sift of applications, a shortlist will be created by Tracey. Those shortlisted will be invited to attend “blind auditions” where they will be asked to create a cut, colour and style on the day. This will be determined by a brief set on the audition day by Tracey. The finished look will be judged by a panel of industry experts, including AJC 93 PR, alongside Tracey Ann Smith, Marlene Lamont and two special guest judges.

Alongside regular education with Tracey, sessions are already confirmed including Creative Cut & Colour and a guest artist inspirational day, MOOD Art Team Members will attend key industry events with the MOOD brand throughout the year, from Salon International to HairCon. Members will have the opportunity to showcase on stage and will also be involved with the MOOD 2026 photographic shoot in spring – creating new imagery for the brand to highlight its luxury position in the industry. New Art Team members will also receive substantial product packages throughout the year to fully immerse themselves in the products, recognise their quality and advanced formulas, and understand how they perform on their clients and models.
The year will end on a high for the team with a Team Awards Night commending members of the team for their hard work and support throughout the year.
