Beyond Vision invites audiences to see beyond traditional notions of beauty and engage with a more inclusive vision of the fashion and beauty industry. It is both a celebration and a call to action – exploring the importance of accessibility, what it means for both brands and consumers when the sight loss community is considered and included, and what our industries can do to work toward a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
Hair & Care
Hair & Care was founded in 2019 by Anna Cofone – a hairdresser known for her work styling celebrities such as Lana Del Rey and Dua Lipa. Hair & Care is focussed on providing accessible hair care and education to blind and low vision women and girls.
Since launch, Hair & Care Β has supported more than 500 women and girls, and trained a network of hairstylist volunteers in accessible language and support – skills that can be taken back to the salon.
In 2024 Hair & Care launched its Making Fashion Accessible initiative (as seen on BBC, Vogue), where it partners with designers to make their runway shows inclusive to blind and low vision audiences – it has since made 6 shows accessible across London and Fashion Weeks, with designers Chet Lo, Roksanda, SS Daley and Sinead OβDwyer.
